I don't know why, but I seem to have a much easier time with composition when working in a square format.
I used the Mijello Mission Gold Pure Pigment Watercolor Set. and Silver Black Velvet Brushes Round size 6 and size 16. Approximately 8.5 x 8.5 in, done in a handmade watercolor journal on Arches paper.
